What’s the difference between private and group training?
At Kaizen Racket Club, we don’t believe in a one size fits all approach. We design our development pathways around a strategic blend of both session types:
– Private training is where the details are built
– Group training is where the details are tested and strengthened

What age should my child start badminton, take private lessons, and compete?
Badminton is a highly technical sport that benefits from early, age appropriate skill development. In the beginning, the focus should be on coordination, movement, and learning through fun group activities. As skills progress, private training can help refine technique and address individual needs, while group sessions develop game awareness, adaptability, and social skills.
Competition should be introduced when a player is emotionally ready to handle both wins and losses in a healthy way. We also work with late starters especially those from other sports who can progress quickly through targeted private training and structured group integration.
